As we ‘read the signs of the times’ and seek to respond to them, we will engage key areas of religious life through lenses of scripture, tradition, interdisciplinary studies, and the arts. We will explore our theological and religious imagination; discern key elements of community longed for and needed in the world today; consider hope as it is vital for our time; and examine ethical issues to which consecrated life is called to witness.
Students interested in taking the course for credit should register for DS4017-1: Religious Life in the 21st Century
