Our Campus

Student life at CTU

In 2005 CTU began a major campus renewal project with the construction of a ninety-five thousand square foot, five-story Academic and Conference Center. This new space has enhanced student life by creating classrooms with integrated technology, expanding meeting and assembly spaces, and introducing a state-of-the-art library to help enhance research. The Academic and Conference Center continues to accommodate a growing student body as well as a number of public programs and events, affording great opportunities for learning and living to our community.

The sunny atrium has become a favorite spot among students and welcomes conversation and interaction between classes and over lunch. The Mary-Frances and Bill Veeck Gallery, which offers four different exhibits a year, provides students the ability to explore the relationship between theology and art, encouraging personal reflection and dialogue.

CTU provides ample space for prayer and reflection. Two chapels are available to students for private and group prayer throughout the day. Students may also participate in daily Mass, all-school liturgies held regularly throughout the year, and the liturgies of religious communities in the area. While there are students who live in nearby religious communities or who commute to CTU, our newly-renovated Residence Hall and Student Center, located directly across from the academic building, is a great option for those considering making Hyde Park a home during their studies. The Residence Hall and Student Center has a cafeteria and dining hall, student lounges, kitchens on every floor, laundry rooms, a chapel, and spacious residential rooms. In addition affordable covered parking for all students is available in the CTU garage.
